Our joint efforts
Electronics cleaning and repair
Organized by students and graduates of the UFCSPA Medical Physics course
The group called “Os Eletrônicos”, with the collaboration of volunteers, proposes to clean and repair electronic equipment affected by the May 2024 flood.
Initially, the project focuses on small equipment that must be received in laboratory 413, building 1 on the UFCSPA campus. In a second step, it is intended that volunteers will go to the necessary locations to repair large equipment.
Project activities are expected to begin in the first half of June, aiming to reduce water levels to better assess equipment maintenance needs.
Cleaning affected areas
Organized by the UFCSPA community and volunteers
During the Cleaning Task Force of the "Recomeça UFCSPA" initiative, participants will engage in various activities, such as cleaning affected areas, removing rubble and waste.
Furniture construction
Organized by volunteers and coordinated by teacher Alessandra Peres
The initiative aims to model and build furniture at low cost and complexity, mainly for bedrooms, kitchens and bathrooms.
Donations of cleaning materials
Assist in the cleaning of regions affected by the 2024 floods in the metropolitan region of people from the academic community of the Federal University of Health Sciences of Porto Alegre (UFCSPA).
We accept donations of cleaning materials or amounts used to purchase them.
The material must be delivered to UFCSPA.
